Summer Weather, Not So Good!!!!!

We've traveled to Elk Rapids Many times this year so far, and so far that's as far as we've went. The weather has not cooperated at all, we've had Waves and Wind whenever we've hit the water. Rain Dominated our vacation, and we'll hasn't really improved yet..... the rest of the summer we are hoping to enjoy on the water, with Sun filled Days and warm Breezes coming off Lake Michigan....Next weekend is Harbor Days in our Favorite Port, we'll be there,then we're off to Ludington to TRY to catch some salmon... Wish Us Luck .....

Spring is here at Last!!!!!

Tomorrow is Saturday and Ambiance is coming home, I have a lot of work to do on her ,installing new Fishing gear and Hopefully a Fishfinder soon, if my Beautiful,Loving, and very understanding wife let's me. I'm sure that Ambiance will be very filthy and will need to be cleaned completely. What a job that will be but it's a labor of love for sure. We're hoping to get out on the water in April if it gets warm enough, if not I certainly have a lot of time to Rig the boat. Ok these are last years pics, I'll update later.

First 2009 Winter getaway

Its was a great time in Alanson Michigan. We went up snowmobiling,it snowed and snowed most of the time we were there. Took ou the sled only to find one was broken, it would'nt stay on the trail in a straight line,we think the front shock is busted. Went over to "the Tunnel of Trees" near Harbor Springs and it was so beautiful,locked and loaded in 4x4 withthe Big snowmobile...Ford Truck we toured the West Coastof Lake Michigan. Wow, we seen a lot of Deer, saw beautiful sea scapes,the Lake was rough and Majestic. Went sledding up to The Bridge on the rails to trails, what a site to see along the trails. It was all so prestine, white powder,smooth trails and a Hot Tub at the end of the trail...Ah So Nice....

December 19th Comes in Like a Lion

Well It's here and pounding us hard, up to a foot of snow expected at our house today. Oh the weather outside is frightful, and being in Mah FORD is so Delightful......I got the 4x4 locked in Low, oh let is snow let snow let it snow........Everybody Drive safe, Yes even you Afton Lynn and Karidan (wishing she had her explorer right about now!)

Doppler Radar Added

Just Added a Gadget, called Doppler Radar, We use it most of the time when Boating, comes in very Handy when your on the Big Water, and cannot see land. Weather is a very unpredictable hazard when your on the Great Lakes, as you can see from the skies above Yacht Haven in the North Channel, storms come out of nowhere, and can be deadly, this one past over us with just a little rain.
