UP Trip 10 days of Bliss

What A Summer 2011 WOW!!!!

Well what can I say it's been a beautiful Summer, Temp, Sun, Waves and My Woman...
We have had the best summer we've ever had since we've met...And that's saying alot, our New boat, a 480 Foot Sea Ray Sedan Bridge. We've slipped in her Montague's Ellenwood Marina, and it's great being there. We've taken so many walks, so many boat rides, and we haven't fished a single time... it's been amazing, More to come about the Summer of 2011...

Great Summer So Far!!!!!!!!!!

We've had a great summer, we've been on the water more times this year than the whole year last year!!! And it's been great, Hot and Sticky but Who cares. We've had some accidents with this monster, all my fault too, Captain Error... go figure. Ellenwood Landings is the greatest Marina ever, other than Elk Rapids...We have so much time to go and only a few more weekends to make it happen. Traveling in this boat is a lot different, Fuel costs are higher and Maintenance is a little bit more, but that's what makes it awesome...Well I must say Good bye for now, but I'll leave you with some pictures to show... Have a wonderful Summer All...

New Owners

Well She's here and we are the proud owners of what is said to be Sea Ray's best boat ever. She's a 2003 480 Sedan Bridge with lot's of room to move and power to move her. We are naming her the same as our last boat, Maryanne did such a good job at naming the last boat, I felt we had to carry over this name, "Ambiance" it has great meaning to us and forever will have, therefore it is here to stay. She's here and she's wonderful!!!!!

Summer Is it Ever Going to Get Here.???

Come On Spring, it's too cold outside, waiting for the warm weather, They are talking 71 on Tuesday.... Come on it's time to get boating, camping and going to the Cabin, where you don't have to build a Fire. Brrr it's Cold outside.... Come on Southern Breeze's....

It's spring time and time to start planning the summer vacations, Oh wow where to go, how long to stay, cabin, camper or boat? There are so many places to go, and that's just in Michigan. Up North, that's a good place to begin, and it can be done even on a budget, Pure Michigan has a great website to check out, Here's a few places we'd like to go this year,take a look.....

The First Pic is of a Ship,a Kind of freighter that carries the Yachts from Miami to where ever they came from , for the Miami boat show, it's crasy, how the boat sinks itself to load an unload the yachts.

Wonderful Winter Getaway, with my Wife!!!

We're back safe and sound from Ft Lauderdale Florida, what a wonderful time it was. It was only for a weekend, but man did time standstill for us down there. We ultimately went to see the Miami Boat Show, but it was not what I expected at all, too busy to expensive,and too many people. We need to learn to travel where people aren't, this is what Maryanne says and she's right.
But if I had the chance to do it all again, I'd do it in a second, but this time we'd stay a few days longer, and breath a little easier and enjoy....
