2013 is Here, Vacation to Key Largo is Over, Damn!!

Wow what a trip, went to Key Largo Via Airplane for 8 days, had a great time, but they have NO beaches.. can you believe it??? We ate Like Kings and Queens down there, So much seafood so little time...hahahha
Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Hog Fish (its good). MaryAnne and I did mostly traveling between the Keys, went to Key Wes the first day, man was it busy.. I know I know it's not Michigan Boating, but it's freezing outside here in Michigan right now...THis pic below was on Marathon Key... just a site we picked to stop and rest and get a Few pics at, The other., well that's Lobster Mobster, the most photographed site in the USA...and I had to get a pic before I ate him....boy was he good... butterrrrrrrrrr

The trip was certainly refreshing, and Maryanne and I needed that, it's been a very busy year, with the business and the FAMILY, we added two grand babies to the count with the Newest being Kannon Jackson, and bumbling baby boy who doesn't sleep that much so says his mother...
Going to the Keys was a first for Maryanne and Me, we were expecting beautiful beaches, but were pleasantly disappointed , the islands were very beautiful....
Our Hotel Was Holiday Inn Key Largo, Wow what a nice place, Not ritsie, but just plain clean ,simple and great cooks for breakfast and Dinner.

The Staff was wonderful and very helpful, we ate most of our breakfasts at the Hotel which made for Breakfast and Lunch, it was a large buffet and very well stocked...After breakfast we're off to explore all the Keys..
We visited the Wild Bird Sanctuary which was very small but well maintained and the birds we all rescued from injury issues. They had a Falcon, it was awesome...Falcons are a bad ass bird...
Several other species were there as well, didn't get pics of everything though...

As you can see they had some very nice Owls these two were trying to sleep...

What was very abundant was the restaurants down there, here's Island Fish company man did they have great food...I had Mahi Mahi and I cannot tell  you how good it is.....
Wild Life, Restaurants, Water and Warm Air, were all very abundant in the Keys, We enjoyed ourselves a lot, seen a few sunsets, took a glass bottom boat tour over the coral reef, let the pictures tell the stories...

A great pictures of Maryanne and a great ending to a great vacation,,,,, we enjoyed...
