The Day was sunny and beautiful, We were headed out in the afternoon....
Ambiance was washed and dryed, ready for the North Country....First Port..Ludington Michigan.
Allyssa, just waiting with lines to tie up to fuel dock, it was a 30 minute wait for sure.....
The rest of this Day was fighting 7 foot Waves, We headed out into 1-3 footers and before we arrived at Ludington, they were Large, 6-7 foot swell, Splasing clear over the top of the roof.I didn't have time to take pictures, in these waves, as it was the camera went Flying down the stairs but was OK!
Pulling into Ludington , here's a pic of the Spartan, a Car Ferry used strickly for parts.
And this is the Badger, the last Coal Fired car ferry and due for a Change in 2014, can't burn coal no more...

The First Night, we were sitting on the back when these Two Dragon Flies decided to visit us and Mate, Notice the Heart they form... isn't it Awesome...

The Next Day We left for Frankfort, not bad traveling, made it in two hours...
THis is Jacobsons, they have a Great Marina, they will even cook your dinner and bring it to your boat, or grocery shop for you, what a Great service...what a great couple.....
What very beautiful sunset..No special Lens....Just God and all his wonder...
As the sunsets in Frankfort, People really do gather at the beach for the sunsets..
And even a Sky Glider....cruising the beach and the Pier..having a great time...
And then there's Captain Bob...Salty Bob...with a bottle of Traverse Late Harvest..
Slips at Jacobsons, they were some very deep slips, tried Fishing in them too, no bites..
We left Frankfort the next day, in very dense fog...waited until 2:30pm, in never lifted so we left in the fog and arrived to Sun in the fun at Ludington once again..
This time, we stayed at the city marina, on their wall, it was great, comfy and less costly....We ended the vacation with some awesome fire works....it was a great vacation, windy, Wavy and Great.....
